Privacy policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Energise Homes ("we", "us") is a pre-launch venture organising community group-buy schemes for solar PV, battery storage and heat pumps. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and your rights over it. The data controller is the founder of Energise Homes, operating as a sole trader prior to incorporation. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@energise.homes.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us through the forms on this site:

Our website host also collects standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) needed to run and secure the site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

How we use it

We use your details to contact you about group-buy schemes in your area, to let you know when Energise Homes launches near you, and to respond to partnership enquiries. That's it. We will not sell your details, and we will not pass them to installers or any other third party for their own marketing.

Our lawful basis

For the waitlist, we rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form and can withdraw at any time. For partner enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you've sent us.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website and acts as our data processor. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting files from Google's servers. We share your details with no one else.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until the relevant scheme launches and you decide whether to take part, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. If we haven't launched in your area and haven't heard from you for 24 months, we'll delete your details.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to withdraw your consent, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@energise.homes. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy (for example when Energise Homes incorporates), we'll update this page and the date above.
